Bombing in Wadi Fara

'Turk Troops bombed in Wadi Fara' typeset brc in margin, artist's signature and date, 'Sydney W. Carline - 1920', trc. High perspective from above seven aeroplanes flying in along valley, through which the Turks move like an army of ants, with smoke from exploding bombs hanging over the scene. Main colours: greens, blues and browns, with most prominent aeroplane, in foreground, yellow/brown. The illustration is printed on a folded sheet, with a border of natural paper colour - it appears in single page size in the trade edition.


The order in which the illustrations are bound into the back of the book varies between copies to a limited extent. Copies certified as incomplete have less than the full set of illustrations in this section.
